Zend: Egypt's judges appreciate journalists' role

Head of the Judges' Club Ahmed el-Zend reiterated appreciation of Egyptian judges for the role of the press and journalists in enriching the freedom of speech, thought and expression and shedding light on the ongoing incidents in Egypt. El-Zend made his remarks during a meeting that was held at the premises of the Syndicate of Journalists on Saturday to congratulate the newly-elected chairman and board members. He asserted the necessity that all journalists be treated equally regardless of their partisan, political and ideological affiliations.
