Giza Criminal Court on Sunday adjourned to a November 2 session the trial of lawyer Essam Sultan and Al Masry Al Youm's journalist Sherine Rabie and executive editor in chief Mohamed Samir Saeed on libel charges.
Sultan had been interviewed by Rabie, an Al Masry Al-Yom journalist and had insulted chairman of the Judges' Club Ahmed el-Zend.
Saeed had okayed the published material.
They also claimed that Zend had held a press conference to lobby support for a certain presidential candidate.
