Terrorist elements that were arrested Thursday in the Qalubiya district of Shubra Kheima are involved in the murder of journalist Mayada Ashraf last month, a security source said. According to initial investigations, the detainees are members of the terrorist group Ansar Beit al-Maqdas and were hiding in Shubra Kheima to plot terrorist attacks against state institutions and policemen in the coming period, the source said. Mayada Ashraf, a young female journalist at Al-Dostour newspaper, was fatally shot while covering clashes between police and protesters in the eastern Cairo district of Ain Shams on March 28
