Tele Liban staff suspend rally scheduled for Tuesday

Lebanese state run television (Tele Liban) union employees announced Friday that the sit-in scheduled for Tuesday in protest against the delay in payment of salaries has been suspended at the request of the CEO, Talal Makdessi. The union reported in a statement that the sit-in will be suspended, pending the outcome of the meeting scheduled for next Wednesday between officials from the Ministry of Finance and Makdessi.
