President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has met with a United Arab Emirates media delegation in the presence of UAE Minister of State Sultan al-Jaber.
The president reiterated the significance of the deeply rooted relations with the UAE, and hailed its supportive stance towards Egypt, said presidency spokesman Alaa Yousef on Thursday.
The delegation, for its part, lauded the notable progress achieved in Egypt following the June 30 revolution especially at political and economic levels.
The meeting also touched on the UAE-funded projects in Egypt, the spokesman said.
The president said that the Egyptian-UAE relations were a model for the success of the joint Arab action in addressing threats that face the region, he added.
