
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Tuesday with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Atef Helmi.
Presidential Spokesman Alaa Yousef said the president discussed with the minister the strategy of the ministry, which aimed to achieve the aspirations of the people in terms of economic progress and luring more foreign investments in the IT domain.
He said the president directed the minister with speeding up the establishment of the national agency for digital community and finding up an integrated mechanism to achieve economic and social development.
According to the spokesman, the president stressed the importance of designing and making electronics and software to create more job opportunities for youths.
