
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah on Wednesday praised the efforts made by local and regional media people while covering the just-ended 25th Arab Summit. "The media play a supportive role in ensuring the success of a historic event such as the summit and conveying the true picture to the public, he said this evening. The minister made the comments during his separate meetings with the media people Mohmmad Ghabris, Bassam Fleihan, Antoin Nofal, George Samaan, Ghassan Sharbal and Hoda Al-Husseini, and Deputy Chief Editor of the Egyptian Al-Ahram daily newspaper Mohammad Abdulhadi, Chief Editor of Jordan's Al-Dostour daily Mohammad Al-Tal and Chairman of the Iraqi Journalist Association Mo'ayed Allami. The meetings discussed a range of issues mainly the ways to enhance cooperation between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and the Arab press organizations
