
Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) President Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today extended congratulations to the new Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) board led by Chairman Moeness Al-Mardi.
He lauded the new members who make up an elite representing all mass media, hailing their dedication and expertise which will further promote the march of the press in Bahrain under the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
In a statement today, he stressed the media freedom which reflects the landmark strides achieved by the national press in Bahrain. He paid tribute to the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) hailing its national role as well as efforts to promote the press profession and bolster the ethics of press work.
Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad reiterated support to the press and the mass media so as it could continue its crucial role, wishing the BJA Chairman and the new board members every success in their duties
