
Acting Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Hajjar of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirmed that one among the resolutions that have been adopted by the 10th Islamic Conference of Ministers of Information of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was the need to use all media towards peaceful coexistence, development, security and stability as well as the confrontation of the phenomenon of intellectual deviation, extremism and terrorism.
He further said that the Conference's call to concentrate on serving and benefiting the Islamic peoples and their countries is in actually emanating to keep pace with the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the statement issued in Riyadh.
This came in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) upon leaving Tehran today after taking part in the works of the 10th session of the Conference of Information Ministers of the OIC Member States.
