Reports in Bahraini media about British Telecoms incorrect

Minister of State for Communications Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has issued a statement “to correct misinformation published in the local media.” “Statements regarding British Telecoms having selected the Kingdom of Bahrain as their MENA Headquarters are false. British Telecoms has discussed the matter of establishing their regional IP Exchange in Bahrain, but has not made any decision on the matter,” the statement said.
