
Ahmed Saad Al-Buainain, Director General of the Qatar News Agency (QNA), has lauded the notable position of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab news agencies. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Buainain said that the Arab news agencies must play an active role in the IV News Agencies World Congress (IV-NAWC) to be held tomorrow in Riyadh. Meanwhile, Sheikh Mubarak bin Daij Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), expressed pleasure that Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, President of the Federation of the Arab News Agency (FANA) and President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), is handed over the chairmanship of the FANA. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Sabah has lauded the SPA efforts in preparation for the 41st FANA conference and the IV News Agencies World Congress (IV-NAWC).
