A number of unidentified gunmen have abducted Moaz al-Thulayeb, a media man, in Salahuddin district of Tripoli.
The armed group led Thulayeb to an unknown place, media sources said Saturday.
The sources believed Thulayeb was kidnapped for what he posts on his facebook account.
Thulayeb has been critical of the security situation and the freedom of expression in Libya and he made that pretty clear in his posts.
Thulayeb is a med student and the nephew of Zeinab al-Zaidi, who is a member of a panel writing Libya's constitution.
Thulayeb works for Al-Asema channel.
