An armed man opened fire at the headquarters of French newspaper Liberation in Paris on Monday at around 10:15 a.m. local time, injuring one person before running away, local media reported on Monday. The 27-year-old photographer was shot in the chest and is in critical condition, French newspaper Le Figaro reported on its website. The entrance to the building was soon blocked. Last Friday, a man armed with what appeared to be a gun broke into the headquarters of French television BFMTV in Paris, threatening journalists before escaping. It is not instantly clear whether the two incidents were linked.
