
A Lebanese magazine has highly commended the role by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in leading his country to modernization and development in line with a holistic reform blueprint. Lebanon's Arabic Al Hadeel reported that since he assumed power, HH the Amir has set out plans for political and economic modernization as per an all-out reform drive. "Kuwait is living the rise of a new dawn in the way to reform, wisdom and statesmanship, becoming a modern state armed with science and knowledge," it said. Kuwait's national economy is based on planning for coming generations, free initiatives and social responsibility for the private economy, regulated by the constitution, the paper added. It also highlighted HH the Amir's pioneering role in the promotion of concepts of freedom and genuine democracy and Al -Sabah Family's efforts to serve both Arab and Muslim nations as a sign of interest in achieving peace based on justice, freedom, equality and respect of international legitimacy principles. It spotlighted Kuwait's foreign policy aiming to shore up the country's international status and to maintain international respect to it, noting that this policy mainly aims to support Arab issues internationally.
