
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Hmoud Al-Sabah has re-affirmed State authorities' keenness on devoting particularly concern to the youth.
The minister was speaking at final game of the governorates' sports competition, "mubaratenah," organized by the ministry, last night, at Abdulaziz Al-Nisef School in Al-Yarmouk district.
The ministry staff have worked for 10 months to prepare for the games, drawing scores of competitors. The Minister Sheikh Salman indicated that the games were played on 100 fields throughout the country.
Sheikh Salman re-affirmed that the ministry has placed all its resources at disposal of the Kuwaiti youngsters, particularly at the cultural and sports levels.
The competition involved 200 teams. In each province, 33 teams played games and six teams representing all the governorates reached the finals.
