
Kuwaiti Minister of Information Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah has arrived here to attend the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) creation. Sheikh Salman, who doubles as Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Assistant Secretary-General of the GCC for Cultural and Information Affairs Khaled Al-Ghassani, Saudi Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Abdullah Al-Jasser and Kuwaiti Ambassador in Riyadh Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Kuwait, which holds the current rotating presidency of the GCC, is set to hold an operetta gala to mark the occasion, with Kuwaiti and Saudi schoolchildren participating.
