
Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah on Monday mourned passing away of Ridha Al-Feeli, the deputy editor of the local newspaper, An-Nahar.
Al-Feeli had greatly contributed to the Kuwaiti media, he was loyal and dedicated to his work in order to raise the name of Kuwait, Sheikh Salman said in a statement to KUNA.
The Minister said Al-Feeli was loved by everyone since joining Kuwait's radio in his youth in 1959, at the age of 18, until he took up a number of leading positions.
He had served as head of the news sector at Kuwait TV, Director of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Information and Assistant Undersecretary for TV affairs.
Sheikh Salman added that Al-Feeli remained faithful to his work and his country throughout his life.
He also expressed in his name and on behalf of the employees of the Ministry of Information sincere condolences to his family and members of the Kuwaiti media.
