
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Sabah discussed on Wednesday with Qatar Media Foundation President Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al-Thani ways to boost media cooperation between the two. In a statement, the ministry said that Sheikh Salman emphasized the strong bond between the two nations, especially in media, youth, and culture. Sheikh Salman stressed the ministry's keenness to strengthen the connection and cooperation between two Gulf media organizations, and achieve desired integration and professionalism of these institutions in serving the communities of the Gulf. For his part, Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Thani affirmed the strong ties between Qatar and Kuwait in all aspects, noting that media is vital especially at this time and can play a key role in the development of people and education. He also praised Kuwaiti media, which he described as "a beacon in the Arab world, which has achieved many successes and still enjoys its prestigious status among countries in the region
