
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah convened with a host of ambassadors and diplomats of a number of countries and mulled shared media concerns and issues. The minister met separately on Tuesday evening with US Ambassador Matthew H. Tueller, along with envoys and officials representing Mongolia, Armenia, and Iran. The minister and his guests discussed the latest international developments, issues relating to bilateral ties, and means to further Kuwait's cooperation with the countries concerned in general and most particularly in the fields of media, culture, and youth affairs. The minister also met with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kuwait Mubashar Riaz Sheikh and discussed means to bolster cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the UNDP. During the meeting, the minister stressed it is vital that joint programs be fully implemented and that exchange of expertise and visits maintained, in the interest of both party
