
Kuwait News Agency celebrated on Sunday graduation of the first batch of its Internship Program for University Students, executed in line with the broad State development strategy.
KUNA's Board Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, addressing the celebratory gathering, affirmed necessity of practical teaching to sharpen youths' skills and habilitate the national cadres to press ahead with development.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has devoted special attention to boosting human resources "for they constitute the genuine national wealth," said KUNA's chief, noting that such courses serve these higher purposes.
The chief editor, Saad Al-Ali, indicated that the special program as organized in harmony with His Highness the Amir's desire to devote special care for the youth and thanked supervisors of the course.
Dr. Hayat Al-Hajji, the dean of Kuwait University's Faculty of Literature, praised the cooperation between KUNA and the university, noting that such training is quite helpful for the students in their future quest for employment.
The student were involved in month-long training on techniques of news writing.
