Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Dueij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah mourned on Wednesday the passing away of Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) and former KUNA chief Barjas Al-Barjas at age 83. "KUNA mourns its founder and former director general; a tall and prominent figure in Kuwaiti media, whose devoted efforts helped deep-seat foundations of a responsible, objective and credible journalism throughout a long journey of giving," Sheikh Mubarak said in a press release. From his work in the health ministry, to the establishment of KUNA, all the way to the chairmanship of the Red Crescent Society, Al-Barjas's work would stand illuminating Kuwait's civil and humanitarian visage, he noted
