KUNA chief meets Itar-Tass counterpart

Chairman of the Board and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah met here Friday with Itar-Tass Director General Sergei Mikhailov. The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 15th Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies' (OANA) General Assembly, focused on means to boost cooperation between KUNA and Itar-Tass. The two sides also called for putting into motion previously signed agreements between the two news agencies. Sheikh Duaij invited Mikhailov to visit Kuwait.
