Minister of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja pointed out that the tremendous development witnessed by the media necessitates administering them with a realist and correct approach in order not to affect their freedoms. In a press statement, following the 2nd meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Arab Ministers of Information Council, which started here today, he said that the new media is dominating the market, contrary to the past, where media was unilateral, which is no more now as news reporting has become more effective and more developing and dynamic. There are more than 1300 Arab spatial stations, hundreds of newspapers, thousands of online newspapers and websites, he added, stressing the importance of administering these media outlets, in accordance with ethical values and principles of our society. Saudi strategy's recommendations to combat terrorism falls in line with the personal interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, he concluded.
