The Israeli army on Wednesday demolished two privately-owned Palestinian facilities and assaulted a journalist in the village of Barta'a Ash Sharqiyeh southwest of Jenin, according to local sources quoted by the Palestinian Information and News Agency "WAFA".
WAFA quoted the same source as saying that five Israeli army bulldozers accompanied by Israeli administrative staff had demolished a stone-cutting workshop and a car repair workshop owned by local residents under the pretext they were ‘built without permit.’
Israeli soldiers assaulted Cameraman Bahaa Kabaha as he was trying to take photos of the bulldozing process.
Israeli authorities rarely issued construction permits for Palestinians in Area C which was under de facto Israeli military rule.
