
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) said that the Israeli occupation forces committed various aggressions against the journalists working in the occupied Palestinian territories during the period from January 1, 2013 and until March 31, 2014. In a press release issued on Saturday on the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day, the PCHR said that this period witnessed significant escalations by the Israeli occupation forces against the journalists working in the occupied Palestinian territories. These crimes were committed intentionally and excessive force were used against the journalists, it added. The PCHR further put the number of aggressions committed against the journalists working in the occupied Palestinian territories at 135 within a year.
