Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bikdeli visited Wednesday the Anadolu Agency (AA) headquarters in Turkish capital Ankara. Bikdeli met with Kemal Ozturk, AA board chairman and director general, saying that relations between two countries were multi-dimensional including relations in media. "You have to keep much closer relations with your counterparts in Iran. We will be helping you out to that end." Ozturk, on his part, said that the AA closely followed Iran, adding that the agency has correspondents based in the country. "We have a very rich flow of news from Iran which is one of the most important countries of the region. We have been following the Iranian politics and developments very closely. We share news on Iran with the whole globe," he said, adding that the AA had plans to start broadcast in Persian as well.
