
State Minister for Information Affairs and the Government's Official Spokesperson Sameera Ibrahim bin Rajab received today a delegation from Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) led by Development Department Deputy Director General Shaikh Hesham bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Director General Adnan Al Blushi, Assistant Director General Dalal Ismail, President of the Risk Management Department Ashok Gulvady and Senior Manager Corporate Credit Analysis Somasundaram Kappily.
The delegation also comprised Amal Kooheji from Tamkeen and President of the Royal University for Girls Dr. Mazin Juma'a.
The minister welcomed the delegation, praising their efforts in honing the youngsters' skills and further engaging them in the kingdom's comprehensive development process. She underlined the key role played by companies in grooming Bahraini media personnel to face challenges posed by those who are trying to undermine the kingdom's hard-won achievements.
The delegation commended the efforts of the State Minister for Information Affairs and the Government's Official Spokesperson in upgrading the media field and keeping it abreast of local, regional and international developments.
