A Greek press delegation is due in Cairo on 14-21 December to visit tourist sights as part of promotion of the tourist destinations in Egypt, the minister of tourism has said.
In statements, Hisham Zaazou said the delegation would visit the tourist sights across Egypt especially in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor.
"It's part of efforts to convey the true image of Egypt abroad and improve the mental image of Egypt," said the minister.
The ministry of tourism aims to increase the visits of foreign media to tourist sites in Egypt to inform the would-be visitors of the true situation in Egypt, the minister added.
The Greek prime minister visited Egypt in November to mark an improvement in the bilateral ties binding the two countries.
