Fars News Agency inaugurated a media college on Tuesday in a ceremony participated by a number of Iranian officials, elites, university professors and the news agency's reporters and personnel. The college works under the supervision of University of Applied Science and Technology and has started its work since the second semester of the current academic year (started in autumn). At present, students are studying different courses at the college, including political and economic correspondence and photojournalism, in two associate and bachelor's degree levels, while other courses will be presented in the new academic year. Fars News Agency's media college was established last year after being licensed by the University of Applied Science and Technology under the name of Fars News Agency's Scientific and Applied Sciences Center.
