
Renown Turkish Armenian photographer, Ara Guler was hospitalized due to chronic kidney problems on Thursday. "Guler was admitted to hospital due to kidney problems but now his health condition is improving", said Assistant Professor Serdar Celebi from the Intensive Care Unit at Sisli Etfal Hospital, Istanbul. Ara Guler was born in 1928 in Istanbul. He ıs regarded as one the best photographers of the world by Photography Annual Antology. In 1979 he was awarded a photojournalist prize. Guler interviewed and took the pictures of famous people such as Winston Churchill, Salvador Dali and Picasso. Due to his photographs, mount Ararat and mount Nemrut in Turkey were recognized worldwide.
