
In line with the strategic partnerships between the Emirates Identity Authority and Zakat Fund, Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Director General of Emirates ID, has participated in the press conference organized by Zakat Fund to launch its 10th media campaign 2013. The campaign has been launched under the banner ""Your Zakat helps maintain their chastity." Dr. Al Khouri stressed Emirates ID keenness on supporting humanitarian and social activities in the UAE as well as enhancing partnership with the Zakat Fund so as to help in spreading awareness about the Islamic obligation of Zakat. The aim is to achieve human solidarity and compassion among members of the society. He added that Emirates ID seeks to enhance cooperation in all fields that help fulfill the needs of the UAE society and contribute in supporting low-income Emirati families. Dr. Hadef bin Jowan Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice, Chairman of the Zakat Fund said that the Fund is taking clear measures to service this great Islamic obligation. He noted that this year's campaign is the 10th, in a series of campaigns the Fund launch each year during the holy month of Ramadan.
