Egypt's presidential advisor: Information minister post can be aborted

Presidential adviser for media affairs Ahmed el-Meslemani hinted at aborting the portfolio of the information ministry. "There are directions in aborting some portfolios including the information ministry" he told Al Arabiya TV channel on Sunday. He said another constitutional declaration is expected to be announced on Monday or Tuesday without giving more details. On Friday, Interim President Adly Mansour dissolved the Islamists-led Shura Council with his first constitutional declaration. Regarding the interim phage, el-Meslemani said: We are working on shorting this phase as much as we can."
