Clashes in Awfar injures Palestinian journalist

A Palestinian photojournalist was injured due to Israeli live ammunition at Awfar checkpoint, near Ramallah, said medical sources on Saturday. Jihad Al-Qadhi, a freelance photographer received a bullet in the abdomen last night and was sent to hospital in Ramallah, sources told KUNA. Israeli forces used live bullets in response to two Palestinian pelting stones, whilst various journalist got injured during protest against prisoners' ill-treatment in Israeli prisons.
