
The Board of Directors of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) held its second meeting here today under its Chairman Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, the Minister of Culture and Information. At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Khoja welcomed the members of the board, lauding the pioneering role of SPA in the field of news reporting, wishing its staff all the success. The meeting discussed the agenda and issued a number of decisions, including the plan to open an office in Ar'ar, northern border region of Saudi Arabia and another in Malaysia. The Council also instructed that the organization's structure and guide as well as the mechanism to sell SPA's products be re-considered. The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, President of SPA, and senior officials.
