Bahraini secretary general holds meeting with information minister

Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala Al-Ansari held a meeting today at SCW headquarters with Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi to discuss cooperation in carrying out the national women empowerment strategy.
They agreed to map out a joint work plan to support the national efforts in empowering Bahraini women, stressing the key role of the media in highlighting and supporting the empowerment programmes.
The Supreme Council for Women signed an agreement with the Information Affairs Authority in September 2011 focusing mainly on giving priority to the council's proposals and goals while preparing media plans and projects.
