
State Minister for Information Affairs and the Government's Official Spokesperson Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab will take part in the 22nd meeting of the GCC Information Ministers which will convene in Kuwait next Wednesday (October 15).
She will spotlight Bahrain's experience in organising the electronic mass media and the social communication networks by mapping out policies, legislating and availing of international experiences in this respect.
The ministers will discuss key issues on the meeting's agenda pertaining to the media field, including the Secretariat General's report on following up the recommendations of the 21st meeting of the GCC Information Ministers, a memo regarding Iran-sponsored channels, a memo concerning the visions of the advisory panel for evaluating the media strategy and a memo on a study submitted by Bahrain regarding the social communication networks.
