
Minister of State for Information Affairs and Government’s Official Spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab visited Russia Today (RT) channel and was updated on news coverage edge as well as different services and cutting-edge technologies which keep abreast of global media and technological revolution.
She paid a visit to Russian News Agency, ITAR-TASS and was briefed on world news coverage and cutting edge technologies in broadcasting news and pictures. The minister, currently on visit to Moscow, paid a similar visit to a Russian newspaper and was informed about news coverage.
On this occasion, the minister hailed strong bilateral relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation, stressing particularly media and news agencies’ cooperation.
She affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on bolstering media and press cooperation with the Federation of Russian to best interest of the two friendly countries and peoples.
In her statement, she stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Information Affairs to keep abreast of world strides and cutting media technologies as part of efforts to develop Bahraini media.
