Bahraini media figures and presenters of children's programmes participated in the Seventh World Summit on Media for Children.
The Media Specialists Mervat Ibrahim and Raeda Mohammed reviewed some of the local children's programmes and the prominent matters and topics addressing children, during the Summit, which aimed to achieve a greater understanding of developments in children’s media around the world.
The Summit recommendations included guidelines' Charter for children's media and how it can provide opportunities for the development of children's programmes in the future.
