
HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi member of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s Supreme Council and Ruler of Al-Fujairah received Arab journalists who participated in the training course organized by the Emirates Journalists Society in cooperation with Al-Fujairah Culture and Information Authority and the Arab Journalists Federation.
Bahrain News Agency (BNA) participated in the course which concluded recently in the UAE's Fujairah Emirate titled "Press Coverage and Professional Standards", with participation of 40 journalists from Arab countries.
The course discussed various aspects of journalism, news reporting, media disinformation and rumours as well as pressures to which journalists are vulnerable.
BNA's journalist Mervat Ibrahim shed light on the agency's media coverage as a strong, effective tool inside and outside Bahrain.
