
President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa has patronised the inauguration ceremony of the Secretariat General premises of the Asian Sports Journalism Federation in Manama, Bahrain. Present were President of the General Organisation for Youth and Sport Hesham Al Jowder, Bahrain Olympic Committee Secretary General Abdulrahman Askar, Chairman of the Asian Sports Journalism Federation Faisal Al Qanai, Assistant Secretary General Mohammed Qassim and press and media figures.
The AFC President described the opening of the premises as a massive boost to the federation in its endeavour to develop sports journalism in the Asian continent and highlight various achievements. He congratulated the Asian sports journalism staff on the new premises which, he said, will contribute to further promoting the role of the Asian sport media in assuming its professional duties perfectly.
