Arab media denounce Syrian girls trafficking

Syrian girls, even under 15, sold as "wives" for a few hundred euro from desperate parents to men from different Arab countries. This, according to reports by some media of the Gulf countries, is among the terrible consequences of violence in Syria, which have driven many thousands to seek refuge in neighboring countries, ending up in refugee camps. But this would just be a ploy to "buy" minors with the sole purpose of sexual enjoyment, he adds. Bid prices, according to the press sources, range on average from 500 to 1,000 Saudi riyals, i.e. from 105 to 210 euro. The girls are found among refugees in Jordan and end up in prevalence in Saudi Arabia. But similar cases were reported in Iraq and Turkey.
