
Anadolu Agency's (AA) photograph exhibition of "Great Effort for Hazelnut," depicting the story of harvest, drying and shelling of hazelnuts via photographs shot in northern Turkish cities of Ordu, Giresun, Duzce and Trabzon opened for the interest of artlovers at a hotel in Ordu. Supported by the Turkish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, the exhibition consists of 67 photos taken by AA photo journalists, drawing heavy attention of domestic and foreign tourists. Baliktasi Hotels Executive Board member Asli Poyraz thanked AA for providing them such an opportunity, saying that "We will bring the exhibition to the taste of our clients until the end of September to contribute to the promotion of our city and our region." AA photo journalists Murat Kaynak, Fazil Sarac, Omer Urer, Yasar Karaman ve Hayati Akcay phographed the hazelnut harvest as well as the working and living conditions of hazelnut collectors and casual laborers. The exhibition previously opened at capital city Ankara's Metro Art Gallery in Kizilay subway and Ordu's Culture and Art Center.
