
Minister of Communication Abdelkader Messahel called Friday in Ouargla local outlets to getting involved in the development effort. The local press has to contribute, efficiently, to local development efforts, for the national interest, Messahel stated during a visit he paid to the press house Abdelhamid-Nedjah, as part of the first day of his tour in the province of Ouargla. The minister also heard explanations relating to activities of some outlets based in this press house, inaugurated on July 15th 2013 and composed of 8 offices, in addition to the headquarters of the local broadcasting local association. The minister, who paid a visit to the Southern regional office of Algeria Press Agency (APS), called its officials to grant the desired interest to the notion of public service and work for its improvement, in order to achieve the informative mission of APS. The Agency’s Southern regional office, based in Ouargla, is alongside the Eastern, Western and Central offices one of the four regional offices of APS.
