Al-Quds chosen as capital of Arab Journalism capital

The Secretary General of the Arab Information Unity Council Haitham Yousef declared that the holy city of Al-Quds was chosen by the Amman-based AIUC as capital of Arab Journalism capital for the year 2014. Yousef said in a press conference that decision of choosing Al-Quds was not for taken for its political significance only but also because it might cast light on the situation of Arab journalism and media. He called for unifying Arab pens in defense of the issues concerning the Arab citizen.
