London - Arabstoday

The Chrysler Group is voluntarily recalling a small number of 2012 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan minivans. The company says that some vehicles might be equipped with hub and bearing assemblies that were not fully machined, which could make them less durable. If the parts fail wheel separation could occur, possibly leading to a crash. So far Chrysler has received no reports of injuries related to this recall. All affected cars were manufactured between Nov. 15 and Nov. 21, 2011. Chrysler will notify owners this month and will fix the problem free of charge by replacing the hub and assembly. The work should only take a few hours, according to standard repair timetables. Owners can also contact Chrysler at (800) 853-1403 or visit www.safercar.gov for more information.
