Volkswagen CC four-door to get R-Line trim

Volkswagen will add the R-Line trim level to the CC four-door in the United States. Powered by VW's 200-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the CC R-Line will launch at the Auto Mobil International show in Leipzig, Germany, on June 1. The car will arrive in U.S. showrooms by the end of this year. Buyers will have a choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. The R-Line gets cosmetic upgrades, 18-inch wheels and paddle shifters in cars with the dual-clutch transmission. The CC was refreshed for the 2013 model year with new front and rear styling and more standard equipment. It went on sale in March.
