
The Porsche Museum has a new attraction sure to bring out 911 fans from all over the world. Porsche has just announced the opening of their "911 Identity" special exhibition at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. The exhibit is meant as a tribute to the evolution of the German sports car which just saw its latest version, the 991, released last year.The location of the museum is significant because since the 911's launch back in 1963, over 700,000 cars have been produced in Stuttgart, Germany. The exhibit contains many old (and even the original) 911s on display all the way up to the current one.Several rare Porsches are on display as well, including the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 "Safari."Also on display in the special exhibit is a plethora of rims and steering wheels from throughout the years. A Porsche 911 Carrera is also on display at the end of the exhibit for visitors to slide behind.The Porsche "911 Identity" special exhibition opened its doors on January 31st and will run until May 20th. The Porsche Museum is located in Stuttgart, Germany.
