Group B rally is back

A new UK-based event, taking place on the roads of Cheshire and North Staffordshire, will see Group B legends, such as the Peugeot 205 T16, Audi S1 quattro, Metro 6R4 and Ford RS200 take part in a competitive rally - an extremely rare occurrence since the hugely expensive and powerful rally cars were banned for being 'too fast to race' in 1986. Taking place over the weekend of 25-26 August, the rally has so far attracted over 60 entries - so expect an amazing line-up of retro-rally cars. Sponsored by Michelin, the rally is currently the UK's only multi-venue rally for Group B cars.
