Ford on Monday announced the recall of 465,000 model 2013 cars worldwide to fix a possible fuel leak that has the potential to catch fire. The vehicle models include the 2013 Ford Explorer, Taurus, Flex, Fusion, Interceptor Utility, Interceptor Sedan, and Lincoln MKS, MKT and MKZ, Ford said. The fuel delivery module in the cars can leak and customers have reported both fuel odors and signs of leaking fuel on the ground. "While a fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire, there have been no reports of fires," Ford said. "We are not aware of any accidents or injuries attributed to this condition." Most of the cars were sold in the United States and Canada, but some 53,000 were delivered in other markets.
