Beijing - XINHUA

Scientists are now ready to fit tracking devices on Tibetan antelopes on the move, in the Qiangtang Nature Reserve on the Tibetan Plateau. Researchers at Sewu Snow Mountain have prepared sixteen tracking collars to be fitted safely on the antelopes. The collars will be used to position the whereabouts of the migrating antelopes, helping in the study of their habits and migration. Over 100-thousand expectant Tibetan antelopes have arrived at the Sweet-water River and nearby Sewu Snow Mountain. Wildlife experts say nearly sixty percent of expectant antelopes have already given birth there.
